Amazing App! Create your own "App" (its really just a webclip):)

Straight from the iPhone Apper Site:

"Tired of going all the way to MobileSafari on your iPhone to use web apps that were built with the "sweet" iPhone SDK?

Provide iPhone Apper with a URL, name, and icon... and iPhone Apper will provide you with an application to install* onto your iPhone. A quick reboot, and your favorite and most visited web application is available from the home screen."

It actually is as easy as it sounds...

1. Type a link to a website you frequent
2. Choose an icon you want for that "app"
3. Press "App Me!" and it downloads your "app" to your System.
4. Using your tool of choice (WinSCP for me) move the "app" you created (don't forget to untar it btw) into your /Applications dir in the iPhone
5. Go into the "app" folder and replace default.png with the default.png from MobileSafari.app (makes it look nicer IMHO!)
6. Change the permissions of the "Embark" file in the "app" folder from 0644 to 0755
7. Respring and the "app" with icon of your choice is waiting to be clicked on your homescreen and take you to the site directly!

The easiest way to install customize on 1.1.4

I found this on one of my favorite iphone sites: http://www.applei.ph/one/

1. Open installer and add this source: www.kankon.org/kankon
2. Refresh and navigate to kankon category
3. Install kankon source and wait for refresh
4. Navigate to Kankon apps and install Customize for 1.1.4
